It appears that the general American public have only ever heard of 4 British musicians/bands.  These would be The Beatles, The Clash, Coldplay and Adele.

What happened to Sting, Dire Straits, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode I mean Ed Shearan for Gods sake, he's following Taylor Swift around this blinking country right now?! :O)

Elton John, S Club?? Blur, Oasis...Imogen Heap...THE SPICE GIRLS

They all think Mumford and Sons are American....

Judas Priests, The Troggs, The Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne?

Tears for Fears, UB40, Zed 'frickin' Zeppelin?

If someone plays me another Beatles song with a 'knowing' grin I'll start breathing fire :O)

At least play me some Radiohead for fucks sake!

Although paste music is kissing the Beatles butt in this article, they at least reference other British Musicians and give a specific song reason!

If you have to play them to me...my favorite Beatles song is...the one you are playing with the volume set to zero..thank you very much.
